A blank page

A blank page-

vast white expanse

spread out in front of your wide gaze,

like an endless horizon

open as the blue sky

stretching effortless into the

distance.

A blank page-

an expanse to be filled

with the musings of the mind;

the things which pour out of

your finger tips,

to be captured and held

in time.

A blank page-

that clear white which vibrates and

thrumbs with possibility;

sucks your gaze down

like gravity,

some force of potential

that which could be written

A blank page-

teases out a soft smile,

and a laughing hope

that these words will be the ones,

and this page will be the one-

it’s blankness transformed

to hold meaning.
