A second with nature

My wondering wanders and leads me

to the door, which I open and stand at.

I watch the sunny scene outside,

and it occurs to me-

nature does not care about fear

nature does not care about love,

nature is all of that, coiling, interconnecting

unity of all aspects, all

sides and all forces.

What care does she have for fear?!

Petty word; petty word of human

invention to encompass as that

he does not know.

As I watch the bony branches of the

trees fork upwards in their course

towards the sun, I realise-

this is me, this is where I came from,

and I manage a soft smile.

The breeze lifts it upwards.
