Desire

He traces a finger across

My collarbone-

I shiver,

my skin becomes electric

and I blink

like a live wire runs

right through my body

and he holds

the power switch.

My back arches

and my pulse pounds, as

I knowingly and

willingly

submit.

      1. I’ve hit a snag, so rather than wait until the inspiration happens to resolve it, I’ll leave it as is.

You’ll have it in a day or two. I dread to think how many words… actually, 42,979 words and counting. That’s 158 pages … and that’s about 2/3 of the total for this element of the book.

Back to the grind in the morning.
