So, after a slow start and howls of writers-block frustration yesterday morning I ended up having an extremely productive day.. go figure.
If you’d told me, 36 hours ago, that it was all going to be OK, and the day was going to be a good one, I probably would have snapped in your face and told you to back the F off..
But, I ended up having my best day, by WordPress standards; and hit 100 followers!!Β
So if one of those is you I just want to say A MASSIVE THANK YOU! It means the world to me that people have read my ramblings and have actually liked what they found enough to come back and follow me.
I appreciate this so very much.
Incidentally, I am still in the process of writing my book.
As some of your may know, it is a self help guide on “How to recover from severe mental illness.” It has been painstaking, heavy and difficult at times: I am basically trying to take all the mind bending and sometimes horrendous experiences of the last twelve years, and focus on how I have worked through them, and managed to leave them behind me.
I’ve been working on it for 14 months, and it’s probably about 2/3 of the way through. I’m currently on 4th edit, and it’s slowly blossoming into the shape I want it to take; it’s slowly turning into the book I want to put out into the world.
I’m hoping to use this blog to build up a bit of an internet presence before I send it off to agents, and although this is all very much in early stages I hope and pray I’ve got the strength, the wit and the discipline to keep working, to keep going, and fine tune the 90,000 words I have so far.
All advice, follows, likes and comments are gratefully received; and really give me the boost I need to keep writing.
So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
Here’s to the next 100- and more.
It’s going to be epic π
Good luck with the book. Hope it gives you the satisfaction you want. β€

Thank you! Lol it’s not doing that so much at the moment, but that’s because it’s proving diffecult to mold into the shape I want..! But I am still enjoying it.. and am still motivated, which is the important thing π

Keep going if you can. I tend to give up when I hit a snag.
